Hi, everybody. Here's our next question. Which of the following joints facilitates the lateral excursion. A hip joint, B shoulder joint, C elbow joint or D temporomandibular joint. Well, to answer this question, it's pretty straightforward, but we do need to recall what the lateral excursion is and that is the movement of the mandible or lower jaw from side to side. And so since you're talking about um the movement of the jaw, the answer we want is choice D the temporomandibular joint, obviously it's not going to be the hip, the shoulder or the elbow joint since we are focused on the mandible. So our answer here facilitating the lateral excursion is the choice D temporomandibular temporomandibular joint. See you in the next video.
