Video transcript

Hey, everyone. Let's take a look at this question together among the functions listed below. Which one is not carried out by connective tissue? Is it answer choice a binding, supporting, protecting and insulating answer choice B control and coordination. Answer choice C storing reserve fuel or answer choice D transporting substances. Let's work this problem out together to try to figure out which of the following answer choices is not carried out by connective tissue. So in order to determine which of the following functions is not carried out by connective tissue, we have to recall what the functions of connective tissue are to try to figure out which one is not one of those functions. And we note that connective tissue is responsible for support as well as protection. Connective tissue is responsible for storage as well as transportation. And so looking at our answer choices, which of the following is not carried out by the connective tissue. Well, we know that support and protection is carried out. So answer choice A is incorrect, we know that storage is a function. So answer choice C is incorrect and transportation is also a function. So answer choice D is incorrect. Leaving us with answer choice B, control and coordination, which is the correct answer since control and coordination is not carried out by connective tissue and is carried out by nervous tissue instead of connective tissue. So answer choice B is the correct answer. I hope you found this video to be helpful. Thank you and goodbye.
