Video transcript

Hey, everyone. Let's take a look at this question together which of the following is not considered part of the cephalic region. Is it answer choice, a temporal answer choice B nasal, answer choice C orbital or answer choice D sternal. Let's work this problem out together to try to figure out which of the following answer choices is not considered part of the cephalic region. So in order to solve this question, we have to recall what we have learned about the cephalic region to determine which of the following is not considered part of the region. And we can recall that the cephalic region is the region that refers to the head as well as the structures associated with the head, which those structures include the orbital, which are the eyes, the nasal, which is the nose, the temporal, which are the temples as well as other facial features. So looking at our answer choices, we can identify answer choice A B and C are all incorrect. Since answer choices A B and C are all structures that are found within the head. So they are considered part of the cephalic region. So answer choice D sternal is the only correct answer choice since that is not considered part of the cephalic region, since the sternal region refers to the chest and the sternum. So answer choice D is the correct answer. I hope you found this video to be helpful. Thank you and goodbye.
