Hello, everyone and welcome to today's video, which of the following regions of the brain produces vasopressin and Oxytocin. As answer to A, we have Adeno hypothesis B, neuro hypothesis C, hypothalamus. D, both B and C. Now, in order to solve this problem, we're just going to go over each of these areas and just talk about what their function is going to be. Let's begin by answer choice. A which is Adeno hypothesis. Now, Adeno hypothesis is going to be synthesizing six hormones and these are going to include the growth hormone, GH prolactin, adrenal corti dropping F S H uh N T S H but it is not going to be synthesizing vasopressin and Oxytocin. So we're going to cancel it out. Then we have neuro hypothesis. Now, this area or this region is going to be storing and releasing vasopressin and Oxytocin. However, it is not going to be producing them, it is not going to be synthesizing them rather, it is transported here than it is stored and released when the body needs them. But since it's not synthesizing by suppressing and Oxytocin, we're going to cancel it up. Then we have the hypothalamus. Now the hypothalamus is going to be the region presented that produces vasopressin and Oxytocin. Now, we are going to have these neuro secondary cells of the hypothalamus producing these which are stored. Then in neuro hypothesis, like we talked about and released when the body needs them. But answer choice C hypothalamus is going to be the correct answer for this question. I really hope this video helped you and I hope to see you on the next one.
