Hi everyone here. We have a question asking us to name the fallen compound and identify its organic functional group. So anytime we see a hexagon like we have here with alternating single and single and double bonds, it is a di substituted benzene and I substitute. Benzene are aromatic hydrocarbons. So we know we have a di substituted benzene now, which means so far our name is Benzene. Now we have to look at our groups. So we have one here and one here and we want the groups to be on the lowest number of carbons. So we're gonna name these carbons and six. So that means we have a methyl group on Carbons one and 2. So we will have one too. And because there's two of them it will be dimethyl and then our base named Benzene. So it's organic functional group is an aromatic hydrocarbon And its name is 12 Dimethyl Benzene. And those are final answers. Thank you for watching. Bye.
