Hello everyone. And in today's video we have the following problem which one of the following statements is not true. D. N. A. Profile shown below. Remember that? This DNA profile is nothing more than gel electrophoresis performed on four different samples of DNA. These samples have different sequences of DNA. So if these sequences match in their respective places, then we have samples that are similar or samples that are not similar in the case that they don't match. So, knowing this, let us jump into solving the problem. We have answer choice A. Which states sample B shows maximum similarities with sample A. Let me just move this a little bit so we can see it better. That's perfect. So sample B shows maximum similarities with sample A. Looking at how much they're matching here. We can see that sample B and sample A. Are very similar to each other. So, this is a true statement. Since we're looking for a false, we're going to cancel this out. Moving on, we have answer choice B. Sample D is similar to all samples A. B and C. Looking at sample D. Which we have here and how it's bands are placed. We can see that it is not similar to all samples because it doesn't have matching bands with either B or A. And so this is actually going to be an incorrect statement. However, let us just go over all of the rest of the statement. So we can continue solving the problem. We have C. Which is samples A. B and C. Have two bands in common. And this is true. As we can see here, samples A. B and C have two bands in common. So this is actually a true statement. We're going to cancel it out and then we have sample D. Or option D. Sample See shows more similarities with sample A than with sample D. Which is true as well as we can see. See has one two and three bands in common with sample A while. It only has one in common with sample D. So it's going to be very much more similar to sample A than two D. So it is actually going to be a true statement as well. And this will all leaves us with answer choice B. Sample D is similar to all samples as the only incorrect statement in our answer choices. I really hope this video helped you and I hope to see you on the next one.
