Hello everyone. And in today's video we have the following problem which one of the following is nuts. A step of DNA fingerprinting. And this technique of DNA fingerprinting is a technique that is used to identify certain DNA sequences. So let's jump straight into solving this problem. This DNA fingerprinting technique uses just a sequence of steps in order to complete the procedure. So let us go over it so that we can start marking out answer choices. So let us begin by step one. The collection of DNA samples. This is when we actually collect DNA samples and it can be done from blood saliva or any other type of just sample that can give us DNA. Then we have step number two. The generation of D. N. A short tandem repeats or restriction fragments. This is when we use this restriction enzymes or restriction and the nuclear crisis to generate just fragments of DNA from just hold DNA sequences. And this is going to be answer choice A. So answer choice A. Is going to be a part of DNA fingerprinting and we're going to cancel it out. Moving on we have PcR which is the preliminaries chain reaction to actually copy make many different copies of the same D. N. A. Sequence. And this is going to be answer choice B. The amplification of DNA fragments by PcR. So it's actually going to be also just a part of the process of DNA fingerprinting. Then we have answer choice C. The separation of DNA fragments on a gel. And this is going to be described. The process of electro races which is when these DNA fragments created by PcR are praised on an Aguero's jail and they're separated in order to just better analyze them and then they are analyzed in step five. So since this electrophoresis process is part of DNA fingerprinting, we're actually going to cancel out Option C. As well. And this all leaves us with option D. Which is the sequencing of DNA fragments by the Sanger method. And this sequence, the word means to study the DNA sequence in order to identify the type of gene that we're dealing with. So it is actually not going to be a part of the D. N. A fingerprinting process. And it's going to be your final answer. I really hope this video helped you and I hope to see you on the next one.
