So we would have to number this from right to left, starting with 123-456-78. So our longest carbon chain is going to be eight carbons. So this tells us that we're going to have that prefix of oct. Now let's go ahead and write out our base name. So since we have an eight carbon chain we'll have octane in. Since we have that ketone will have the ending of O N E. And to denote the carbon number of our Ketone, we will add a number 3-40sane on. Now let's go ahead and look at our substitue Ints, Looking at carbon # six, it looks like we have a methyl group.
