Hello everyone today. We are being asked if Osama is um is present in the following molecule. And this term essentially just means is there chirality present? And chirality is simply a carbon atom that's bonded to four different groups. So in this example this carbon would be bonded to a adam, being adam, the adam and adam. And so looking at this central carbon here we have to look at what four groups it's bonded to. We can see that we have one hydrogen, one bro mean one chlorine and one iodine. 4 different groups. Therefore we can conclude that yes there is optical som tourism present in this molecule. Why do to chirality? And with that we have our answer. I hope this helped until next time?
