Hey everyone, we're asked to identify which element would be the best candidate to dope indian phosphate and replace some indian atoms to make an N. Type semiconductor. We know that an N. Type semiconductor has extra negative charges. And if the dope it replaces a few indium atoms, it should have more valence electrons than indium. Now we know that indium is in our group three a. And we want the dope in to have more valence electrons. So that means we need to choose an element in our group for A and our best candidate is going to be our 10, which is directly right next to India in the following group in our periodic table. So I hope this made sense. And let us know if you have any questions.
