Welcome back, everyone. Draw the structure of hex and we own according to the name of the structure. It essentially means that we have a total of six carbon atoms in our parent chain. So what we're going to do is just draw a six member chain 123, four, five and six carbon atoms. And what we want to do here is just bond a carbon group at carbon number three because it says three on. So if we count our carbon atoms, we have 12 and three. So let's simply introduce a carbon group, add carbon number three. And this is how we get our structure.
