Hello everyone and welcome to today's video where we have a fairly simple problem. So let's jump straight into it. The diagram shown below is a. D. N. A fingerprinting of the mother, father and son. Remember that these DNA fingerprinting diagram involves gel electrophoresis which is a technique that is used to analyze certain DNA samples to compare them. So let us look at the actual question prompt and see what we have to do with this. We need to analyze the DNA bands and identify how many DNA bands are common among the three individuals. So let's go up to a diagram and do this. Now. We have the mother, the father and the son. Looking at the three samples, we can see that the only van that is constant that is in the same spot in all three individuals is this band which makes only one band similar among all three of them. Looking at our answer choices, we have that this coincides with answer choice, A one bend only and so that is going to be the final answer to our question.
