Welcome back everyone. Our question says the following body ions are involved in renal regulation except a sodium B, potassium C, calcium D bicarbonate or E hydrogen ions. So, we're looking for the ion that is not involved in renal regulations. And that's going to be choice D by carbonate, which essentially acts as a buffer in the blood to maintain the body's proper Ph. So you don't want it as part of this renal regulation because you want it circulating around doing its job. So the kidney does have bicarbonate crossing membranes into the uh into the capillaries into the blood, into the filtrate. But it's not a part of that renal regulation system.
