Hi, everyone. Welcome back. Our next question says, the autonomic nervous system controls the functions of the body's internal organs such as heart rate, blood pressure, digestion and body temperature. Which of the following is not a disorder of the autonomic nervous system A or the static hypertension B, familial dystonia, see amnesia or D multiple system atrophy. So in order to pick out which one is not a disorder of this autonomic nervous system, we need to think about what each of these disorders involves. So, starting with a orthostatic hypertension. This would be a disorder in which there's a sudden drop and blood pressure on standing up, which causes issues such as dizziness and things like that. But blood pressure is definitely within the realm of the autonomic nervous system. It helps to maintain it. So that's not going to be our answer choice. Since it's a disorder of that system choice be a familial this auto and this is a condition in which uh people have sudden fluctuations in blood pressure from too high until too low. So unstable blood pressure, which again would definitely be the autonomic nervous system which maintains blood pressure. So choice B would not be a candidate for a disorder of the autonomic nervous system. Now we get a choice C amnesia. Well, amnesia, it is is a disorder of memory that is not controlled by the autonomic nervous system. So choice C will be our answer here. Let's finally look at choice D multiple system atrophy. And this is and as a very rare autonomic disorder causing progressive loss of motor function, including functions of the autonomic nervous system. So that's definitely not our answer choice here. So again, the one that is not a disorder of the autonomic nervous system is choice c amnesia. See you in the next video.
