Hello, everyone and welcome to today's video. So the rip cage, sternum and spine also help to protect the vital organs such as the heart and lungs, et cetera, which are located in the a gastrovascular cavity, B, abdominal cavity, C pelvic cavity, D thoracic cavity. So in order to solve this problem, I'm going to be introducing into the screen, an image that contains a person that is showing each of these sternum, rib cage, spine, lungs and heart. So this is signaled in the person here as we can see. Now, this as we can see as well is all going to be located in this chest or just this upper area. Now, knowing that let's go over each of our answer choices so that we may solve the problem. First of all, we have a which is the gastrovascular cavity and this is located near the stomach. This is not going to contain the heart and lungs. So we're going to cancel it out. Then we have B which is the abdominal cavity. Again, this is going to be near the abdomen. So a bit lower than what we are shown here because of that, we're going to also cancel it out. Then we have c which is the pelvic cavity, which is located even lower. And because of that, we're going to cancel it out. And then we have the, which is the thoracic cavity and the thoracic cavity is in fact located in the chest area in this upper torso area and it does contain the lungs and heart. So this diagram is in fact showing the thoracic cave of a patient. And because of this, we're going to be highlighting answer choice D as a final answer to this question.
