Hello, everyone. Today, we have the following problem, not completed synthesis by determining the plausible product of the hydrogenation reaction given below. So this alkene reacting with molecular hydrogen and a catalyst known as Lindler catalyst essentially works to add this molecular hydrogen across the alkene in thin fashion or the same side of the alkene. And in doing so, it reduces that alkene into an alkane. And so this is essentially what our product will be with the reaction overall. I hope this helped. And until next time.
