Hello everyone today. We are being asked to examine the following aromatic substitution reaction and to predict the product that will form so an aromatic substitution reactions. Benzene actually undergoes a reaction wherein a hydrogen is replaced by another atom and in this case it's going to be a br So to illustrate that hydrogen atom being replaced, I will draw it in the starting material. So we have our benzene ring and right where that hydrogen used to be will be a roaming and as a byproduct that hydrogen will join up with another bromine atom. We have our answer.
