Hello everyone today, we are being given the following problem, give the temperature on the following thermometer and provide the correct number of significant figures. So if we look at this thermometer, it is between the degree mark And we'll label that as in and it's also between the 57°C mark. And so the best estimate, therefore, is to say that N is going to be equal to 56.5°C which is also representative of three significant figures, abbreviated as three sig figs.
