Hi everyone here we have a question asking us to calculate the morality of a solution made by dissolving 10.5 g of diet ethyl ether C four H 10 0 and 300.0 mL of Benzene C six H six. The densities of di ethyl ether and Benzene are 0. g per milliliter and 0.876 g per milliliter respectively. So first we need to calculate our molds of di ethyl ether. So we have 10.5 g times one mole Over its smaller mass, which is 74 .14g. And our grams here cancel out. And that gives us 0. moles. Next we need to calculate the mass and kilograms of Benzene. So we have 0.0 mL times zero .876g, Divided by one mil liter times one kg Over 10 to the 3rd g. And our mill leaders are going to cancel out And our g are going to cancel out leaving us with kg. And that equals 0.26- kg. Lastly we need to calculate our morality. So our morality is going to equal 0.142 moles of di ethyl ether divided by 0.26 - eight kg of advancing. And that equals 0.540 Morality. And that is our final answer. Thank you for watching. Bye.
