Hello, everyone. Today, we have the following problem, determine the plausible product or products for the following substitution reaction of benzene. So this benzene ring is reacting with this alko Halide and a Lewis acid luis acid reagent which is aluminum chlorine. And this reaction is known as a Bret Crafts alky. And this reaction essentially contains or includes the addition of that alk group to this benzene ring using these reagents. So we will jar benzene ring and then on any given carbon here, we will draw this alki group on our alk ha line, which will be the following. And more importantly, the hydrogen that was substituted. We draw this the hydrogen on this ben that was substituted for that alkyl group will form or react with that chloride to form hydrochloric acid. And so with that, we have solved the problem overall, I hope this helped. And until next time.
