Hello, everyone. Today, we have the following problem, determine the systematic name of the given di substituted benzene. A para dibromm benzene B 15 di bromo benzene C 12 Di Bromy benzene or D meta di Brom benzene. So if we look at this molecule, we see that we have a benzene ring and we have two substituents, two bromine. In fact, that can be named by their position to one another. And so if we look closely, we can see that there are, there is a carbon separating these two, bro means meaning that they are in the meta or m position. Therefore, we could name this as meta, followed by the substituents die Brummel because there are two. And then benzene, we could also name it conventionally by numbers, making sure that we give the substituents the lowest possible number when numberings this benzene ring. And so this could actually be meta di brom benzene or 13 di Bromo benzene. And if we look at our answer choices, we can see that Anto D Meta Diro benzene best reflects our answer overall. I hope it helped. And until next time
