Hello, everyone and welcome to today's video. So the movement of specific substances from blood into filtrate is called as answer choice. A. We have glomerular filtration. B we have tubular reabsorption. C, we have tubular secretion D we have excretion. Now let's go over each of our answer choices and try to define each of these terms so that we can arrive at the correct one. Let's begin by answer choice. A which is glomerular filtration. Well, this is going to be the movement of fluid from the glum glomerular capillaries into the tubular elements of the Nephron. This is not the excretion of substances from the blood to the filtrate. So we're going to cancel it out. Moving on. We have B which is tubular reabsorption. Now, tubular reabsorption is going to be the reverse of this. It is going to be the movement of specific substances from the filtrate back into the blood. Then we have D which is excretion. Now, excretion is going to be the permanent removal of substances from the body usually via urine. It is not the movement of of substances from the blood to the filtrate. So we're going to cancel it out. Finally, we have C which is tubular secretion, just like tubular reabsorption is going to be the movement of substances from the filtrate to the blood tubular secretion is going to be the opposite, the movement of substances from the blood to the filtrate. Now, if we look at our question, this question is asking us for the movement of substances from the blood into the filtrate. And therefore, we can highlight answer choice c tubular secretion as the final answer to our question. I really hope this video helped you and I hope to see you on the next one.
