Let's work this problem out together to try to figure out which of the following ganglia innervates the rectum sigma colon, descending colon and other pelvic organs. So, looking at the following ganglia and recalling what each is responsible for innervating, we are able to identify that the celiac ganglia we know is responsible for innervating the stomach as well as the liver and the spleen as well as the pancreas and the kidneys. And we also know that the aortic renal ganglia which is located near the renal artery is responsible for innervating the kidneys as well as other nearby structures.
