Hi, everyone. Let's take a look at this practice problem together. Muscles can be named according to several criteria which of the following about naming muscles is incorrect. The answer options are a muscles can be named based on their size B. Muscles can be named based on their function. C muscles can be named based on their color. And D muscles can be named based on their location in the body. So let's start off with option A, it is a true statement so we can eliminate it. An example is the gluteus, maximus, maximus means largest. So this is a muscle that is named based on its size. Option B, it can also be eliminated. The abductors, longest brevis gracias and magnus are muscles that are hip abductors. So the four abductor muscles abduct the leg. So they are named based on their function. Option D is also a true statement and can be eliminated. Think of the muscle, temporalis. This muscle is located in the temporal region of the skull. And so it is named based on its location in the body. That means the correct answer is. Option C muscles can be named based on their color. All right. Everyone.
