Hello everyone. So in this video we're given a pure a table with the colorful elemental references that were given statements of different reactions were being asked which of these three given reactions will not occur. So let's take a look at the article 1st. So in blue here, that element is lithium, the yellow is aluminum and the green is gold. So let's first go ahead to translate these three statements of this colorful references into actual chemistry terms. Something that we can kind of keep in mind when we're solving this. Part of the problem is either knowing these elements and where they are in the period table or knowing the activity series, periodic trend. But that definitely helps. Alright, so again, we're just translating here. So for the first one we have lithium and its neutral state directing with aluminum cat ions to give us lithium cat ions and aluminum and not neutral state. The second one is gold in its neutral state, reacting with lithium cannons to give us gold can ions and lithium in its neutral state. And lastly the third one, we have aluminum reacting with gold cannons, give us aluminum can ions and gold in its neutral state. And basically what I'm doing here is just matching the blue with what we said the element was and so on. All right. So for the first reaction So statement came this lithium is above our aluminum and activity series. So this can occur. Now we'll just put a purple checkmark. The second reaction is a statement be gold is below lithium and activity series. So this reaction cannot occur. Let's put it back X. Lastly, third reaction, so statements same lithium is above aluminum in our to 50 series. So again this can occur. So this gets a purple checkmark. So, of these three statements, we identify one that will not occur, so that is answering our question then. So statement B is going to be the reaction that does not occur of these three. All right. Thank you all so much for watching.
