Hello everyone. Today, we have the following problem. Which group for a element is the least dense metal. So a group, four elements going down a group are the following. We have carbon followed by silicone, followed by germanium. And then we have tin and then we have lead. And so a general trend when comparing density in metals is their metallic character. So metallic character essentially decreases the further down you go a group. So we have the trend that we have carbon is the least metallic element present. In fact, it is considered a non metal. We then move on to silicon and Germanium which are both semi meals. So if they are both semi metals, they both cannot be the answer. So we can get rid of and toys A and C and then we have tin and we have lead. Well, these two are actually both metals and so to. So we have this is lead. So if we were to compare the metallic character, we said it decreases down a group, we could conclude that since our tin is just above the lead, the lead essentially has the least amount of metallic character. So we can say that 10 is our answer or D and with that, we've answered the question overall, I hope this helped. And until next time.
