Video transcript

Hello everyone today we are being asked to give the name of the Benzene. Below. The first thing you wanna do is you wanted to know our parent name which is also the longest carbon chain, longest CC. And so seeing the only carbon atoms here being in a carbon ring. This is going to be known as Ben zine. So our parent chain, our parent name is Benzene and our substitue in which is our second step. So our second step is to name our substitue. Ints is anything that is left over from our parent chain. And so we have this flooring group here and so we're gonna denote this as floor. Oh since this is mono substituted, there's only one substitute. Mint. No LoConte is needed. So we don't have to say that this flooring is located on carbon 123, so on. And so the last step is to put this together. So this is going to start with a substitute or floral. And then the parent name Ben Zien. And we have our final answer. I hope this helped. And until next time.
