Everyone. Let's take a look at this question together, choose which statement is incorrect. And here we have three different statements where statement one says in hypotensive patients, the glomerular filtration rate is expected to be low. Statement two says the kidneys are only sensitive to high blood pressure. And statement three says Renan is an enzyme that is released when the blood pressure is too low. And we want to determine whether answer choice. A only statement, one is incorrect is the correct answer. Answer choice. B only statement two is incorrect is the correct answer, answer choice. C only statement three is incorrect is the correct answer or answer choice. D all above statements are incorrect. Let's work this problem out together to try to figure out which of the following statements is incorrect. So in order to solve this question, we have to understand what the statement is telling us to determine whether or not it is a correct statement or an incorrect statement. Starting off with statement one, which says that in hypotensive patients, the glomerular filtration rate is expected to be low. Well, in regards to hypotension and glomerular filtration rate, we know that hypotension leads to decreased blood filtration by the kidneys. So since hypotension leads to a decrease in blood filtration rate by the kidneys, the glomerular filtration rate would be expected to be low, which tells us that statement, one is a correct statement. So answer choice, a only statement, one is incorrect cannot be the correct answer. Which makes answer choice d also incorrect. Since we know we have a correct statement, so all statements are incorrect cannot be a possible answer. Choice. Next, we have statement two, which statement two says the kidneys are only sensitive to high blood pressure. Well, in regards to the kidneys and blood pressure, we know that the kidneys play a crucial role in regulating arterial blood pressure, which means that the kidneys maintain low and high blood pressure and are not only sensitive to high blood pressure. So the kidneys maintain both low and high blood pressure, which means that they are not only sensitive to high blood pressure. So statement two is an incorrect statement which means that answer choice B statement two is incorrect is the correct answer. As the kidneys play a crucial role in regulating arterial blood pressure. So they are not only sensitive to high blood pressure as they maintain both and high blood pressure. So statement two is the only statement here that is incorrect. As statement three says that Renan is an enzyme that is released when the blood pressure is too low, which Renan regulates blood pressure. So when blood pressure is too low Renan would be released to regulate that blood pressure. So, statement three, it's also a correct statement. I hope you found this video to be helpful.
