Everyone. Let's take a look at this question together, an abnormally high glucagon level would lead to what is it? Answer choice. A increased cellular glucose absorption, answer choice B decreased insulin secretion. Answer choice C increased blood glucose levels or answer choice. D all of the above. Let's work this problem out together to try to figure out which of the following answer. Choices best explains the consequence of abnormally high glucagon levels. So in order to solve this question, we have to recall what we have learned about glucagon and how abnormally high glucagon levels would affect the body. And we can recall that abnormally high glucagon levels can be caused by pancreatic tumors such as gluco noma and some symptoms of having gluco noma. And abnormally high glucagon levels includes necrotic migratory erythema, reduced amino acids and hyperglycemia, which we know that the term hyperglycemic refers to high blood glucose levels. So an abnormally high glucagon level would result in answer choice C increased blood glucose levels since an abnormally high glucagon level can result in hyperglycemia which is high blood glucose levels. So answer choice C is the only correct answer choice. I hope you found this video to be helpful. Thank you and goodbye.
