A modular, manageable, meaningful survey of the life span

Discovering the Life Span provides a broad overview of a human life, from conception through death. Utilizing a flexible, modular organization, author Robert Feldman covers the life span chronologically and focuses on physical, cognitive, and social and personality development within each stage of life. An engaging writing style makes the material meaningful, and prepares students to apply what they're learning to their own lives.

The 5th Edition more prominently highlights culture's impact on development, and further emphasizes the application of multiple perspectives when studying development.

Features of Revel for the 5th Edition

  • Two simulations in one,  MyVirtualLife offers profound insights into development across the entire lifespan.
