We're told for the following polynomial expression, simplify our expression is negative six K race to the seventh multiplied by nine K cubed multiplied by negative seven K raises to the sixth power. Our answer choices are answer choice. A negative 378 K raised to the 126th answer choice B 378 K raised to the 126th answer choice C negative 378 K raised to the 16th and answer choice D 378 K raised to the 16th. All right, we recall from previous lessons that when we are multiplying numbers looking first at these coefficients negative 69 and negative seven. For those regular numbers, we're just going to multiply them. So negative six multiplied by nine multiplied by negative 72 out of three of those are negatives. We're going to get a positive answer and that multiplies out to be 378. Now with the variables that have exponents, it's a little bit different. We recall from previous lessons on multiplying with exponents that when we have like bases. So if we have M raised to the A power multiplied by M raised to the B power. They have the same base. What we're going to do is add the exponents. So we keep the base M and that's raised to the A plus B. So here all of these KS have the same base and what we need to do is add all of their exponents. So we're going to add seven plus three, which is 10 plus six, which is 16. So we'll have K raised to the 16th power. And that one's as simplified as it gets.
