All right, so for this one, we're going to be arranging the major divisions of the brain in order of the complexity of the functions that they control. And keep in mind here when we say complexity, we're thinking about complexity in terms of evolution. So, what is more evolutionarily complex versus evolutionarily simple. The most complex functions are going to be performed by the forebrain or the top of the brain. We'll put the forebrain here, followed by the midbrain, and then finally, the most evolutionarily simple functions are going to be performed by the hindbrain.
Alright, so that is the order of complexity. The most complex functions happen in the forebrain, followed by the midbrain, and then the most evolutionarily simple functions happen in the hindbrain, and there you have it.
