Hello, everyone. Today, we have the following problem which of the following best describes the orientation of anti parallel strains in DNA in terms with a three prime and five prime ends. Well, if we were to have an example, illustrating this concept, we could note that if we have the following nucleotides on one strand, this strand will run from the five prime to the three prime end. And the complimentary basis to these nucleotides will be the following wherein we can note that the other strand runs in the opposite direction or from the five prime or from the three prime to the five prime. So this is the anti parallel directionality nature of DNA strands. So looking at our answer traces, we can conclude that trace B best reflects this one strand runs from three prime to five prime, the other from five prime to three prime. And with that, we have solved the problem overall, I hope this helped. And until next time.
