Hello everyone today. We are being asked to identify the delta S. Of the surroundings or the entropy of the surroundings given the following. So we have our delta H of the reaction which start in full P. Which is 1 56 kg jewels. And then we have our temperature which is 112 kelvin. So we must identify the equation for the entropy of the surroundings which is the entropy of the surroundings is equal to negative entropy of the system over temperature. And so we have these values that we're gonna go and plug them in. So we have negative, we're gonna put our 156 killed jewels and parentheses. And since the units have to be in jewels we just convert this by using the conversion factor that one killer jewel is equal to 10 it to the third regular jewels. We put this over a temperature which is 112 Kelvin. Our units are going to cancel out and we are going to be left with a final answer of negative 1392.9 jules per kelvin which can translate into negative 1.39 times 10 to the third jewels. For kevin kelvin for scientific notation. And so with that we have our final answer. I hope this helped. And until next time

Without doing any calculations, determine the signs of ΔSsys and ΔS surr for each chemical reaction. In addition, predict under what temperatures (all temperatures, low temperatures, or high temperatures), if any, the reaction is spontaneous. a. C3H8(g) + 5 O2(g) → 3 CO2(g) + 4 H2O(g) ΔH°rxn = -2044 kJ
