All right. Hi, everyone. So this question says true or false. Oxygen is most commonly found in the hydrosphere as 02. So to understand this question, right, we have to understand how oxygen is found in nature. And it's found in three different areas which found in the atmosphere in the hydrosphere, which is the focus of this question and also in the lithosphere. Now, the atmosphere refers to the gas layer in which oxygen does primarily exist as 02 gas. Now, the lithosphere refers to the earth's crust in which oxygen combines with other elements to create different solids. So for example, silicates oxides and carbonates as what? But the idea is that oxygen exists here in a sort of combined form in which it combined with other elements. Now, lastly, right, the hydrosphere as indicated by the prefix hydro refers to the layer of water, which means that oxygen is primarily going to exist as H2O. Now, dissolved oxygen gas can also exist in the hydrosphere for the purposes of maintaining aquatic life, but predominantly it's going to exist in the hydrosphere as H2O, right, as liquid water, which means that the statement given in the question happens to be false because oxygen is most commonly found in the hydrosphere as H2O not 02. So with that being said, thank you very much for watching. And I hope you found this helpful.
