Welcome back everyone. We're told that atmospheric pressure at the summit of Mount fuji on a certain day was found to be 469 millimeters of mercury. What is this pressure in a. T. M. And pascal units. So we're going to first recognize that we can directly convert from a t. M. Two millimeters of mercury by recognizing that 1 M has an equivalent of 760 millimeters of mercury. Next we want to recall that we can go from a T. M's directly into pascal's but recognizing that 1 80 M has an equivalent of 101,300 pascal's. So beginning with that pressure given in the prompt, 469 millimeters of mercury. We want to get our first answer for the pressure in a T. M. By plugging in that conversion factor where in our denominator we have our 760 millimeters of mercury equivalent to 1 80 M. In the numerator. Now we can cancel out millimeters of mercury leaving us with a t. M's in the numerator as our final unit. And this is going to yield the pressure of 800.6171 A T. M's. Now going back to our prompt, we see that our pressure given 469 has 366. So we want around this answer to 366 being 3660.617 A t. M's. So this is going to be our first answer for the pressure of the summit at Mount fuji and a t M's. And now we want to get to our second answer being the pressure in past cycles. So we're going to begin with that calculation from a T. M. Being 0.6171 A t. M's of pressure and now multiplying by a conversion factor where we have 1 80 M equivalent to 101,300 paschal's in the numerator. So now canceling out a T. M's were left with pascal's in the numerator as our final unit. And this is going to yield the results of 65 or 62,528 650.2 paschal's which we can round to about three sig figs as 6.25 times 10 to the fourth power paschal's.
