Welcome back everyone in this example, we're told that drops of chromosomal blue were added to the two solutions shown below. Based on the results determine if the following statement is true or false solution to has a ph greater than seven. So what we should first recall is that when we have a ph that is less than the value six point oh we should have a yellow colored solution, But when we have a ph that is greater than a value of about 7.60, we should have a blue coloured solution. Now recall that our indicator, burma thermal blue will turn blue at a pH that is slightly greater than seven. And according to our second statement, according to the prompt solution to has a pH that is greater than seven. So because we can see that The depiction of solution two is definitely blue toned. We would agree that our statement is true and so it's true. That solution to has a ph greater than seven so we can just say greater seven. And so our final answer is going to be that this statement is a true statement. I hope that everything I went through was clear.
