Hi everyone for this problem, we're told to identify which statements describe a gas that is placed at a very high temperature. So we have a gas that we're dealing with and this gas is being placed at a very high temperature. So let's just think about what happens when this occurs. So as the temperature of a substance increases, the average kinetic energy of the particles increases. And we can see here that answer choice to describes that. Also as the average kinetic energy increases, the particles move faster and collide more frequently. So we can see that represented in our answer choice three. In terms of the last one, the inter molecular forces become more relevant to its behavior. This is not something that is being described as a gas being placed at a very high temperature, so that's not going to be a correct answer. So our only answer choices here that are correct. Our statement two and three. That's the end of this problem. I hope this was helpful.
