Video transcript

Welcome back everyone. Our prompt reads that all of the following are examples of ionizing radiation except which of the below. So what we want to first recall is what ionizing radiation is, recall that this is radiation with enough energy to alter and adam. And this is done by removing electrons from these atoms. So what we want to recall is the sort of particles or waves and raise on our electromagnetic spectrum that could be capable of ionizing radiation. And we would think of the following examples such as alpha particles being capable of ionizing radiation. We also can have beta particles that are capable of ionizing radiation. Also gamma rays, X rays and high energy ultraviolet race of radiation. And so we would confirm that the only answer choice that is not listed in our list of particles and raise capable of ionizing radiation is our choice C as radio waves. So choice C. Is our final answer. As an example that is not capable of ionizing radiation. I hope everything I reviewed was clear. If you have any questions, lead them down below and I will see everyone in the next practice video.
