Peroxide and Superoxide Reactions
23. Chemistry of the Nonmetals / Peroxide and Superoxide Reactions / Problem 1

Peroxymonosulfuric acid (H2SO5), Caro's acid, is widely used as a bleaching and oxidizing agent. It can be produced with water from the reaction of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4). Draw the Lewis structures of H2O2, H2SO4, H2SO5, and water and provide the S–O–O bond angle in H2SO5.
