Hello everyone. Today. We are being asked to give the name of the benzene. Below. The first thing you want to do when naming anything is identify the parent chain, which is just the longest carbon chain, the longest CC. So we have two choices here we have a ring and then we have a linear chain. If we go in the ring we have 123456 carbons. If we go in the linear chain we have 123. Of course the ring with six carbons is going to have the most number of carbon atoms and therefore it's going to be the parent chain. So we're going to say that our parent chain is Ben zine and our substitute you in which is our second step. So our second step is name sub constituents. That's going to be this group hanging right off of that parent chain. And in this case this is a special name known as Isso purple. And so lastly we put this name together, starting with the substitution. So this name would be isopropyl benzene. As our final answer. I hope this helped. And until next time.
