Hi all. Let's look at our next question. Which of the following inter specific relationships among species has a net benefit for all partners. So we're looking at a relationship between different species that benefits all partners involved. So let's look to our answers. Choice A competition. Well in competition probably a net gain for one species might cause a loss for another since it implies the two species are competing for the same resource. So um one kind of coming out ahead will be to the detriment of the other. So that won't be the a net benefit for all species if they are competing for the same resources. So we can eliminate choice. A Choice B. Is predation. Well that's obviously one species killing the other. So the benefit there is pretty much all going to lie with the predator. So that's definitely not a net benefit for both partners. So not Choice B. Choice E. Says mutual is um Well as we might guess by the presence of the word mutual in the word mutual is um mutual ism. Is a relationship in which both species benefit from the relationship. So that is the concept that we're looking for. A net benefit for all partners in the relationship. So Choice C. Mutual is um is our correct answer. Finally for the sake of sake of thoroughness will look at choice. D parasitism. Well that's where one species in the relationship benefits to the detriment of the other. So not a net benefit for all partners just to one. So Choice Dean not our answer. So again which inter specific relationship has a net benefit for all partners? That's choice C Mutual is um Thanks for watching. I hope to see you in the next video.
