Hi, everybody. Let's look at our next question, which of the following areas of the brain is located in the frontal lobe and regulates breathing. When we are speaking a frontal eye field, Broca's area, C Wernicke's area or D premotor cortex. So if you weren't sure and were trying to guess on a test, for instance, you could probably eliminate to right off the bat, the frontal eye field since it has the word I in there. And indeed, that is what regulates eye movements for reading and coordinating the vision between both eyes. It is in the frontal lobe as you can see by the word frontal but is not responsible for the function our question asks about and the other question you could probably eliminate right away if you had no idea whatsoever is choice D or the other option, the premotor cortex, as you look at that word or term motor and indeed, that regulates skilled motor activities though it is also in the frontal lobe, but it doesn't have the function that a question asks us about. So now we're down to two and indeed our correct answer choice here is choice B Broca's area this is in the frontal lobe and is in charge of regulating breathing while speaking, it's also known as the motor speech area. So just looking on our last answer, choice of Verne keys area. Uh First of all, Verne's area is not in the frontal lobe, it's in the temporal lobe. Mhm. And it's the center of the brain that's important for language comprehension and it's usually good to have the speech centers of the brain memorized. And as we know, bro, is the first one that our question asked about our question, asked about regulating breathing while speaking, but generally involved in speech production. While Verne's area is more involved in language comprehension. So they're actually separated into two separate areas. But do I see not our answer. So again, the area of the brain in the frontal lobe that regulates breathing when we are speaking, choice B broke ass area. See you in the next video.
