Hi, welcome back. Let's look at our next question. Choose which statement is false. Regarding the nervous system A, it is divided into two branches, these central and peripheral nervous systems B the heart conducts itself and is independent of the nervous system. C the nervous system is connected to all organs of the body and D it is concerned with the relaying and processing of information. So the statement that is false about the nervous system here. Well, the rhythm of heart contraction is determined by pacemaker cells in the heart, the autonomic nervous system or A NS controls cardiac activity. So the heart is not independent of the nervous system. So choice B is going to be false. Our other answer choices when we look at them, choice A divided into two branches, central peripheral, well, this is true. The central nervous system consists of the brain and spinal cord. While the peripheral nervous system are all the nerves to carrying messages all out throughout the body. Do I say incorrect to see or a system connected to all organs of the body? That's a pretty straightforward one to be true. It is getting messages from parts of the body, delivering commands to parts of the body. So choice C is correct. Therefore not our answer and choice D it is concerned with the relaying and processing of information. Again, pretty obviously true, sending messages, receiving sensory information. That is a main function of the nervous system. Choice D also true and incorrect. So our false statement regarding nervous system is choice B, the heart conducts itself and is independent of the nervous system. See you in the next video.
