Professor Alan Williams, Trident Technical College
Alan Williams has 23 years of experience in the Criminal Justice Field, including work experience in law enforcement, corrections, and private security. He has worked as an accreditation manager, patrol supervisor, Homeland Security coordinator, emergency planner, detective, arson investigator, detention officer, and private security supervisor and officer. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Charleston Southern University, a Master of Arts Degree in Social Science with graduate Certificates in Homeland Security and Leadership from The Citadel, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource Management from Southern Wesleyan University. He has taught criminal justice courses at Trident Technical College as both an adjunct and full-time instructor since 2008.
