Level 3/4 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Supervision

Overview

This modular course is designed for construction site supervisors and assistant site managers who want to achieve an NVQ supervisory qualification. The Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Supervision is aimed at learners working for a principal contractor, but sub-contractor supervisors can also attend this course but will complete the Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision. The seven one-day modules will fit around the demands of a busy work schedule. A high level of support is provided to help you satisfy the NVQ requirements. You’ll gain the confidence to carry out your supervisory responsibilities efficiently and effectively.

  • Resource management (cost, cash and risk) 
  • Assessment workshop. 

 

Assessment and training

This course involves classroom tuition and workshops. During each session you will identify the evidence you need to gather from your workplace to create a portfolio. There will be an assessment workshop plus a one-day, one to one on site assessment. 

 

Entry requirements

You should be working as a site supervisor or assistant site manager in building and civil engineering, highways maintenance and repair, residential development, conservation or demolition. Before being accepted onto the course, you will need to complete a questionnaire and take part in an informal discussion. 

 

Certification

Level 3/4 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Supervision. 
Supervisory CSCS Gold Card.
