VQ Bulletin - Issue 7
Welcome to the seventh edition of the Vocational Qualification Bulletin. We appreciate your feedback about the content of our emails and calls with you. We understand that you want and need to be kept fully informed, so this week we have included guidance that is confirmed, as well as questions we are still awaiting clarification on, in our headlines of the current status of vocational qualifications section.
We understand that there are still specific areas that require more detail, but please be assured that we will keep you regularly updated with all information as soon as it becomes available.
Last week we held the first two of our ‘Jan-Feb BTEC Customer Briefing’ sessions for centres running BTEC Entry Level to Level 3 courses. If you were unable to make it, we have included links to the pre-recorded session and the slide deck that was used, as well as the pre-asked questions in this bulletin, along with our regular important updates.
Thank you to those of you who shared your views as part of the Ofqual and DfE consultation which closed on Friday. We anticipate hearing the outcome in late February and will, of course, keep you informed as new guidance becomes available and announcements are made. We are committed to working closely with Ofqual and DfE, to ensure that no learners are disadvantaged, and those expecting to complete their qualification this year can progress.
As always, you are welcome to contact us with any queries or concerns, or access our FAQ page, which is updated frequently. You can also review past bulletins in our archive if you’ve missed any, or sign up to receive future updates if you have not already done so.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
