We’re celebrating those educators who empower and inspire learners to be themselves in English.

Whether it’s a teaching assistant who always takes that extra moment to listen or a lecturer who helps learners see something in a whole new way, we know great English language teaching is happening every day.

That’s why we launched Pearson English Teaching Awards, to celebrate the outstanding teachers who shape and transform learners’ journeys.

Who can enter

Our awards are open to any English language educator. Teachers can nominate themselves or be nominated by co-workers, school leaders, parents and learners.

We welcome nominations from teachers in any type of school, teaching any age group and even those who are not yet Pearson customers. We just want to celebrate great English language teaching.

How to enter

There’s just one nomination question: **"How do you / your teacher / your colleague build learners’ confidence to be themselves in English?"**

In 600-1,000 words, tell us about the great work your nominee has been doing. Tailor your answer to one of the award categories and include examples relevant to the judging criteria.

Nominations open: 15 August 2024

Nominations close: 1 November 2024

Shortlisted entries selected: 14 November 2024

Awards ceremony: 21 November 2024
