About the course

Help provide critical thinking, collaborative working and problem solving for your young learners

The book is made up of 8 units, each with its own theme. The four key skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing are covered, and importance is placed on phonemic awareness, guided reading, tracing and listening activities.

There is also an emphasis on mathematical thinking, so that students learn to develop logical and structured thinking: spatial reference, patterns, repetition, order, growth, geometric patterns, etc.

Personal, social and emotional development is encouraged, and students will learn to say how they feel, what they need, express their emotions, what they like, dislike and so on.

Seahorse is suitable for 2-3 year olds, and is followed by the course Starfish.
