Nominations are open from 15 August 2024 to midnight (CST) on 1 November 2024.

The Pearson English Language Teacher Awards 2024 are open to head teachers, deputy-head teachers, teachers, teaching assistants and lecturers around the world (excluding Restricted Countries – please see terms and conditions. Educators at all types of school, state or independent, can be nominated. 

Co-workers, school leaders, parents and learners can all make nominations. Teachers can also nominate themselves. 

No, the awards are open to all educators. 

There are three things our expert judges will focus on: 

• Category fit: How well does the submission meet the criteria in the award category description? 

• Confidence building: Does the submission demonstrate an understanding of the unique needs and challenges of building learners’ confidence in English? 

• Outcomes: What results and outcomes have been achieved as a result of the nominee’s dedication? 

Yes. After you submit your nomination the teacher will receive an automated email letting them know that you have nominated them for the Pearson Global English Teacher Awards 2024 and the category they are nominated in.

The winners will be announced at the Pearson English Language Teacher Awards Ceremony on 21 November 2024.  

There will be 15 winners, three in each category, with prizes for the teacher and their school. Find out more about the prizes.
